INTEL DROPS UOP FROM TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM!

(11-30-06)

As of November 1, 2006 Intel has made some changes to their tuition assistance policy that affects new students beginning class at University of Phoenix. Prior to November 1, Intel employees were eligible to receive tuition assistance when attending University of Phoenix. As of November 1, 2006 Intel employees enrolling as new students are not eligible to receive tuition assistance when attending University of Phoenix. Intel employees who are continuing students (ie: those enrolled prior to November 1, 2006) will not be affected, so long as they are enrolled and attending classes. Continuing students that fall out of attendance may be impacted, although those students should consult with their HR representative at Intel for more detailed information.

We are currently in communication with Intel representatives to clarify their position regarding University of Phoenix as an approved institution for tuition assistance. We will keep you posted.

Managers and directors, please share this message with the appropriate staff members. Thanks.
