UOP Grads Need Not Apply!

It is not uncommon for employers to practice unwritten or unpublished hiring policies. Most prefer to collect as many resumes as possible and filter through them discretely. It is quite a bold move for a company to tell certain groups or classes of people not to apply. That's why it is quite remarkable when companies go to such lengths as to explicitly request in their employment ads for graduates from certain schools NOT to apply. It is no surprise to us; however, that this is happening with UOP Grads.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States University in Accounting or related field. Applicants from University of Phoenix or DeVry need not apply.

Ask yourself this... have you ever seen an ad saying Colorado State University Grads need not apply? How about FSU grads need not apply? No, of course not! This only happens with schools whose standards are below that of the business world.

Even if this represents only a few percent of all employers, do you really want a degree that limits where you can go and what you can do with it? Why not invest your time and money into a degree from a school that is accepted and respected by all? There are thousands of well-respected and universally-accepted alternatives (and most at a fraction of the price)!
